Jim Lanier, CPESC

Jim was appointed to the Cobb County Soil and Water Conservation District in 2003.

He holds a Bachelor of Agriculture in Plant Services from the University of Georgia.

Jim has been involved in the land development industry in several capacities his entire career.

He is currently President/Owner of Aquascape Environmental, an environmental consulting and contracting company.

A Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Jim is often called on to speak to professional and educational groups on topics relating to erosion control, stream restoration and other aquatic resource issues.

Jim has served on the boards of several other organizations, including the Georgia Lakes Society, Georgia Exotic Pest Plant Council and the Georgia Vegetation Management Association.

He also volunteers his time and resources to a variety of natural resource protection and preservation groups.
